- Keeping Your Body Safe
"Keeping Your Body Safe" is a plain language booklet to help meet the particular need for sexual safety among people with cognitive disabilities. The booklet explains different levels of social connection and appropriate touching. There is an accompanying caregiver companion guide, as well as a "Relationship Ripples" sheet and poster to help show what kind of touching is OK for different people in one's life. For more information or a free copy, contact the AIDS & Disability Action Program/Wellness & Disability Initiative at 604-875-0188 or email adap@bccpd.bc.ca.
