Following the Literacy B.C. Annual General Meeting on October 25, new officers were elected to the Literacy B.C. Board. The 1996/97 officers are:

Workforce Education Initiative Underway

A new Workforce Education Initiative is continuing the work of the 1995 Foundation Skills Project. The project is managed by Literacy B.C. and funded by the National Literacy Secretariat.
