The Co-operators: A Better Place For You

Last year’s winner...

The 1999 winner of The Co-operators Learner Achievement Award was Melody Edwards, an ABE student at the College of the Rockies in Fernie. When she won the award Melody said, “When I finished my first novel, it was the most wonderful feeling. I can’t even say it without feeling overwhelmed inside. It’s hard to explain what it feels like after not being able to read for so many years. It’s like a whole new world opening up to you.”
