Skills and Learning at Work for British Columbia - Essential Skills Conference

Hyatt Regency Hotel, Vancouver

The Conference will bring together more than 200 people from a cross-section of government and stakeholder groups. This event is targeted to business, industry, association and union leaders; workplace training and literacy practitioners and service providers; secondary education leaders involved in workplace skill development; government representatives and the workplace learning community.

BC to Host Site for National Literacy Forum

In April 2008, B.C. will be one of five sites in the country participating in the first ever Canada-wide hi-tech literacy forum announced by the Council of Ministers of Education (CMEC). See News Release
